Church of Tares, Updated 3 Hour Director’s Cut
Below is the updated 3 hour director’s cut of Church of Tares:
See how the best business practices of management guru Peter Drucker have been borrowed by Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and Bob Buford to build influential megachurches. Updated material includes a biblical examination of the office of “celebrity pastor,” the unbiblical practice of “vision casting,” how the Purpose Driven and Seeker Driven movements treat detractors, the Purpose Driven Continent of Africa, the use of non-profit pulpits to sell books and more on “Chrislam.” This information is especially vital to those who follow Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, Bob Buford, Andy Stanley, Steven Furtick, Perry Noble, Mark Driscoll, Ed Young Jr., Mark Batterson, James MacDonald and others within the movement.
This editions will also be available on DVD in approximately 2 weeks (Lord willing). You may order online or contact us for a complimentary copy if you are unable to view online. To support these efforts and future projects you can pray for us, make a donation, or help translate subtitles into other languages. Thank you for your support!

Hi glb21, (or can I call you by your real name?)
I agree, it is sickening. The extra footage just shows how much the apostasy within the church has grown in such a short time, and in fact these films only just begin to address the wide-reaching web that continues spreading. Most concerning of course is the convergence of these movements (emergent, church growth, NAR etc.), combined with the relentless promotion of extreme ecumenism and interfaith activities within the church.
Never has there been a more urgent time to be sure we truly are in the faith, to study the Scriptures diligently, and to share the Gospel with others! How wonderful it is for us to have brothers and sisters in Christ to encourage each other in these perilous times. 🙂 In Christ’s service, Sherryn
By the way glb21, I keep meaning to drop into your site more often for some proper conversation. My apologies for not doing so before now.

No need to apologize. I wouldn’t expect that of people anyway. But if you every want to converse that would be great too:)
Yes, I find it comforting to know there are other Christians aware of these things even if it is only through the blogosphere:) I’m looking forward to real fellowship in heaven with our Lord someday.
The name’s Gina:)
