Let us not give up…
Matthew 15:21-28
New King James Version (NKJV)
A Gentile Shows Her Faith
21 Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”
23 But He answered her not a word.
And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”
24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Hi Sherryn.
I just wanted you to know that I watched most of the video on the emergent/emerging church that you posted on my website. I had seen it before but found it so good I had to watch it again.
It seems like Elliott and Keith Thompson are putting together some of the best Christian documentaries out there. They both do a great job. A film like that must take many hours to piece together.
Keith is young, but he is wise beyond his years. He is making a documentary on the problems with Catholicism. I praying about whether I should post it or not.
Hopefully, I’ll get back to listen to Pastor Hemmings’ sermon.
It’s almost 1:30 in the afternoon here in Arkansas and I noticed it’s Sunday down under. You are probably sleeping as I type this and I am taking my weekend nap soon.
I hope you have a blessed weekend.

Now I am up and off to church!
I am glad you had a chance to watch that documentary. What an eye opener those films were last year when I started my research. In fact, what I have since discovered is that these issues have rapidly spread and become far worse than even the documentaries portrayed. I agree about Keith and Elliott…some great work, and to offer their films for free is so, well…Christian. I have heard Keith on a radio program before, and have watched that other documentary you had a link to. Elliott Nesch is also involved in the Gospel Fellowships project with the guy who started Sermonindex.net.
As for my weekend, I think it will have to be categorized as very testing. But is isn’t over yet, so there is still much time to pray and hear from God’s Word!

Hi Sherryn.
I hope your weekend wasn’t too testing. I noticed that you came to my blog twice today and it reminded me to come back and listen to Pastor Hemmings. It’s so good to know that there are men like him still in England. I didn’t listen to the entire sermon, but I appreciated that he encouraged young people to consider God’s call to the mission field. He game examples of those who have given their lives, literally, for many who have never heard the Gospel message.
Thank you for posting this wonderful message.
God’s blessings…
