From Paul Washer, a two-part sermon.
A plea turn to Christ, to persevere in our faith until the very end of our lives, to produce spiritual fruit through the power of the Holy Spirit, and to reject worldliness and false teaching. This is an outstanding biblical explanation of the truth, joy and hardship of the Christian walk with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. It encourages, challenges and rebukes. Paul Washer also addresses the devastating issues within the visible church including the problems of false conversion, and the challenges that face true believers.

I’m listening to part 2 today. I found this sermon very truthful, I don’t know if I could sum up what I heard in this sermon in one word… Theres so much to it! I did however find his summary in part 1 about “empty chisterns” to be incredible, it was very challenging in some part’s when he told us all to examine our hearts before moving forward into other parts.
Lastly the portion about what he thinks the chruch need’s is systematic theology was very encouraging for me as I’m currently reading Whyne Grudem’s Christian Beliefs!!
There is so much in this sermon and so Christ centered, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard a sermon like this.
