An excellent article and sober warning about popular ‘Christian’ speaker and author Beth Moore.
A while back I spent many months completing an extensive study of Beth Moore and her teachings. In the course of this study, I read 3 of her books, read 1 of her Bible studies, read her website and blog, and watched several online videos. The following is a summary of my research. My separate reviews of Moore’s books and Bible study are available here. The following is really long, so pack a lunch.

Thanks, Sherryn.
A while back, a found that a pastor friend of mine was allowing one of the Beth Moore Bible Studies to be taught to the women by his wife. I warned him, via email, of my concerns about Beth Moore’s contemplative spirituality. The Study went ahead as planned and I felt a bit better when a discerning Christian friend of mine said she had done that particular study an didn’t remember anything wrong.
These were both large churches, one a Southern Baptist Church, and one a EFCA church. Before I read this article, I would never allow anything from Beth Moore inside a church if I had anything to say about it. I will continue to warn others about the dangers of her teaching. This article will be very helpful in sharing my views.
God’s blessings to you and your family…”talk” to via Facebook one of these days
