From Pastor Gabe Hughes, this an excellent review of a recent interview with well-known Christian theologian and apologist William Lane Craig. There are a number of men like Dr Craig out in the public arena defending Christianity and proclaiming the truth of God’s Word. Or are they?
From the article:
“On Saturday a week ago, The New York Times published an interview between Pulitzer prize winner Nicholas Kristof and apologist William Lane Craig. Dr. Craig is a world-renowned theologian, scholar, and an expert debater. He’s the founder of the ministry Reasonable Faith, giving a defense of biblical Christianity. The first question asked of Craig was if it’s reasonable to believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, and other theological questions follow. I present the article in full with Kristof’s questions and Craig’s answers in bold, and my responses follow.”

I was very suprised by William Lane Craig’s poor answers. He may be brilliant, but not about Biblical theology. Pastor Gabe Hughes would easily win a debate with him.

It is sad to someone so unable to clearly and confidently defend the Christian faith. Especially when they do it for a living! I agree, Pastor Gabe is far more able to do so, and does not shy away from the less ‘popular’ doctrines.
